Whether you have recently had a baby and would like to rebuild strength or have had a diagnosis of ADHD and are looking for guidance and coaching, I'm here to help you.
I know what it can be like because I was once there too.
-
After I had children, I needed nurturing more than anything: someone who could help me rebuild my body safely, support me emotionally and help my with my frazzled mindset. That is how Mamaste Fitness was born: combining a passion for outdoor fitness with truly holistic support for new mothers.
-
My high sensitivity, racing mind and frequent RSD eventually led to a diagnosis of ADHD at the age of 46. Since then, I've been expanding my fitness offering to support ADHD clients who want to learn about natural ways to thrive with ADHD. This includes all aspects of health, nervous system regulation and mindset, as well as helpful tools and systems.
- As someone who worked in corporate and had lots of different jobs before setting up my own business in early 2019, I understand the workplace and what adjustments neurodivergent individuals need. ADHD may be seen as a super power by some but unless it's nurtured, supported and understood, it can often lead to overwhelm and burnout. I offer workplace talks and coaching to organisations that truly value equity and diversity.
By learning more about health, hormones and mindset, we can thrive as women in our 30s, 40s and beyond.
Whether I'm coaching or training you, you'll be met with the same grounded, compassionate and ethical approach that is founded on lived experience and extensive training as well as my Scandinavian values.

As women, our monthly hormonal ups and downs can have a massive impact on our nervous system and increase our sensitivity. This is especially apparent as we enter our 40s which is known as the perimenopause…

Feeling overwhelmed by life…
We’ve often been so busy building our careers and looking after our family we forget to look after the most important person: ourselves. But as we hit the perimenopause, the things we do and don’t do really matter, especially when we’re neurodivergent. This is often the time when women finally reach out for support. Because with the right guidance, our nervous system can finally heal which helps our family too.

Struggling to manage…
Perhaps we stop eating healthily and get by on adrenaline and coffee. We forget to exercise. We don't take enough breaks and our sleep is negatively impacted. And then overwhelm and perhaps burnout sets in. And all of a sudden we're learning the hard way that self-care is no longer a nice-to-have but a must-have. And if we’re also neurodivergent, we often need more self-care than your average person.

Wondering how to make a change…
Women are sometimes told that they can have it all but trying to do everything at once often comes at a high cost in the form of chronic stress. This impacts all our systems: nervous system, cardiovascular system, immune system. When we add in a late diagnosis of neurodivergence and perhaps years of masking and overworking, we often hit a perfect storm during the perimenopause.
The good news is that with awareness, understanding and the right tools, it is possible to thrive...
Many women, in particular mothers, soldier on on their own, forgetting that it takes a village. To raise children. To live a contented life. To live well with ADHD.
This is where I come in. My sessions are a safe space to share and process what is coming up for you, and create a plan for going forward.
Whether you’re looking for a holistic health coach to help you evaluate where to make helpful lifestyle changes, to 1-1 personal training programmes, to ADHD-specific coaching & mentoring sessions, you’ve come to the right place.
I’ve walked the path of chronic overstimulation and emotional overwhelm, and have found a way to not just survive but thrive.

EXCELLENT Based on 26 reviews Posted on Rebecca Steinfeld11 June 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Caroline is a very special personal trainer. She subtly combines strength training with a much more holistic offering, combining nutrition advice, therapy and even friendship. I have loved working with her in both our 121 sessions and at Buggyfit, and hope to do so again in the future. She really knows her onions when it comes to supporting post-partum and perimenopausal mums regain their strength, in every sense. Thank you for everything, Caroline 🙏Posted on Harriet Barratt5 August 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Caroline is a fantastic Health coach! She has helped me more than I thought possible. As the sessions progressed I discovered more and more about why I haven't had success before. Caroline is so kind and understanding and incredibly knowledgeable, I always looked forward to my sessions each week. Thank you!Posted on R vk13 December 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have just completed a course of coaching sessions with Caroline and am incredibly grateful for her time and input. She worked closely with me to uncover my limiting beliefs. She helped me discover things I had not realised were holding me back from being the best version of me. Caroline gave me guidance, insight and support all of which empowered me to challenge my thoughts and build new, positive visions which in turn will help me work towards my life goals. Caroline is very insightful and no matter what the limiting belief was that we uncovered, she was able to educate me on the science behind it then motivate me to change my thought process. I feel I have achieved so much in our sessions - thank you! If you are looking for a coach, look no further!Posted on Rose Morrison23 August 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I worked 121 with Caroline after baby number two to really gather momentum and strength again - Caroline was amazing, she got to know me, my baby (!) and my body - where I was at and built our 121 sessions from there. She worked hard on the fundamentals - starting with strengthening my pelvic floor and balance then gradually building up to more complex exercises. By the end of our 12 sessions i was in a place where i felt strong enough to run/hitt and carry my two kids! I couldn't recommend Caroline more - she made me feel myself again and was more broadly genuinely a wonderful, inspiring Mum to spend time with!Posted on Sajanthi Nathan21 March 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having sessions with Caroline was one of the best things I did for myself after having my son. Caroline helped me regain strength and confidence in my body post-natally, in a safe way and at a steady pace. Sessions focused on core rehabilitation and functional strength needed for day to day life as a mother. Every session was different, incorporating elements of strength training, pilates and mobility. More than anything, Caroline knows first hand what it's like to be a new mother and her sessions felt like I was being mothered and cared for! She's flexible and easy going, which you need when you have a newborn who feeds on demand or needs some attention. On days when I felt tired and achey, she'd quickly adapt sessions to suit my needs so I still felt challenged but not demotivated or worried about injuring myself. For anyone looking to recover from pregnancy and childbirth, gain strength, learn the foundations of exercise or simply ensure they have a weekly commitment to exercise for themselves after having a baby, I'd highly recommend getting in touch with Caroline.Posted on Anna Sinclair6 July 2022Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I absolutely loved buggyfit classes with Caroline. Caroline made the classes so much fun. Buggyfit is so much more than a fitness class. Caroline knows what she's talking about and is immensely helpful with helping Mums with postpartum recovery. Highly recommend.Posted on Rachel Family21 April 2022Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I attended Caroline’s prenatal class during my third trimester and it was absolutely brilliant. Caroline is great at leading you through exercises which are challenging for your level and also at creating a really nice and welcoming class environment. I looked forward to her class and the hour of fun and socialising as well as movement every week!Posted on Will Crone21 April 2022Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Caroline was fantastic into helping me with my pregnancy and post natal recovery. Caroline is fun, understanding and highly experienced. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking advice or just needing help after pregnancy. I have also done her group classes which are also great for The exercise but also to meet other women in similar circumstances.Posted on Phillippa Guillou20 April 2022Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. "When I first joined Caroline's Buggyfit class in May 2020 I was in the midst of some pretty bad postpartum anxiety. Little did Caroline know how much her classes helped me during that time. Getting outside in nature, moving my body and speaking to other like-minded mums lifted my mood and always set me up for a happy and successful day. Thank you Caroline for being a brilliant, intuitive and fun trainer and for giving me back my confidence and helping to lift the fog in those early postpartum days."Posted on Joanna Sanderson20 April 2022Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had personal training with Caroline in my home. She really understood what I wanted to achieve and was very knowledgeable about the different movements required to work on specific muscle groups. She has particular advice for mums which other personal trainers do not have. I would definitely work with Caroline again.

Caroline struck the perfect balance between direction and empathy, helping me move from insight to action in managing my ADHD. Having already done a year of therapy, I needed something more focused and practical, and Caroline delivered exactly that. She helped me reconnect with my strengths, listen to my body and mind, and understand the importance of making space for what truly fulfils me. Her holistic, values-led approach felt completely aligned with what matters to me. Most importantly, I respected and trusted her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Caroline to anyone looking for compassionate, practical, and empowering ADHD coaching.”
“Having Caroline, as an understanding, listening coach, help to unpick aspects of my life which brought me postnatal anger, shame and made me unhappy was essential in making me feel more accountable and get more of a handle on my outbursts. Caroline was the best guide through this process. She successfully coached me on how to prevent these situations arising and what to do in the heat of the moment to redirect my irrational anger and frustration.”
“I was going through some challenging life circumstances which were impacting my health. Caroline is a gentle, perceptive and highly skilled coach. She held space for me very delicately, which is what I needed the most. She understood the struggles I was going through well and was compassionate in her manner, while also gracefully helping me find a way forward. She is a naturally sensitive coach who knows how to navigate a session without judgement and hold a safe space effortlessly. I felt very comfortable in the sessions and was often reminded of the options I have to take positive action that I could not see on my own. I truly believe coaching to be the most efficient and sustainable way to reach your goals and I highly recommend Caroline to guide you there.”
“I feel fortunate to have come across Caroline. The sessions we had were individualised to me, she was empathetic, and I was able to achieve my goals with her help and support... I wanted to feel motivated in taking better care of my health. I’m a working mum, studying for a master's degree and have rheumatoid arthiritis…Caroline helped me identify barriers to achieving my goals and overcome them. I am deeply grateful for having met Caroline and the support she provided.”
“Caroline was a much-needed lifeline in a difficult time, enabling me to give myself some grace and find a better balance to navigate this period of my life. As a direct result of my sessions with Caroline I have carved out more time to take care of my needs, the upshot of which has been a much-improved relationship with my daughter.”
“I found the process Caroline used to be massively enlightening and useful on a practical level. I have learned a lot about the way my brain works and tools for managing myself, which I find very interesting - Caroline explains new information in a highly accessible and relevant way, making it easy to understand and apply. During the process, I gained increased self-confidence, self-awareness, and a greater sense of positivity about my life. Thank you for coaching me!”
